A new commission by Ynyr Pritchard.
Filmed and performed live at Plas Bodfa.
On its 1181st day in the pond at Plas Bodfa, Piano Drowning by Annea Lockwood fell backwards into the water. To commemorate this re-orientation and the beginning of its next phase of life, we have invited a third new music composition and the filming of its live performance.
Resurrection of Catastrophe by Ynyr Pritchard will be performed by the composer in addition to Giuliana Tritto, Leandro Landolina and Zachary di Lello in and around the pond at Plas Bodfa.
There are two performance times – starting at 14:00 and 18:00 on the 11th of September. The performances are approximately 2 hours long and are free of charge. Booking is essential, owing to the nature of the performance, audience numbers are limited.
The performances will be recorded and filmed by Culture Colony. Audience members will appear in the final films, to be screened at Sinema Llangoed and shared online.
